Thursday, November 21, 2013 - At La Bocca in White Plains with JT. Drank after a St Innocent Shea/Pinot, it had about an hour to open (recommended). Paired nicely with a rustic chicken and sausage dish we ordered
Consistent with prior notes - great black fruits, floral, spices. Dark purple up to the rim - great color. Nose was lush dark fruits, tar, floral. This bottle had more earthiness than I remember in prior bottles. Medium to long finish.
Drinks very well now and a great pairing for foods with more spice. Has the ability to age if you are inclined.
