Tuesday, December 3, 2013 - Consumed over 2 days, note from day 2. Nose: Medium-plus expressiveness, caramel apple, lemon, and pear. Palate: Medium bodied, somewhat creamy and dense texture in the mouth, tart tropical fruit attack, big acidic backbone, mineral and earthy components appear mid-palate and and remain prominent into the back-end. Finish: Medium-plus length of tart tropical fruit and minerals. By day 2 the fruit has dissipated noticeably versus day 1, still interesting and enjoyable though. Probably would have scored a point higher yesterday. (89-90)
