Wednesday, August 30, 2023 - Another disappointment from Delas, one wonders why their wines don’t age. This had some oxidative notes and didn’t improve with air. The least favorite wine at dinner. Some Syrah fruit but not enough complexity - tar, smoke, bacon, pepper - to live up to Crozes Hermitage or the epic 2010 vintage. I should think such a wine should last 13 years!
