Tuesday, February 18, 2014 - This is amazingly consistent in every vintage and the 2010 is exceptionally good. A dark opaque purple in color, offering pretty aromas of dark fruits, flowers, earth and spice. Full-bodied, rich and velvety. Plenty of sour cherry and plum fruit character here with excellent depth and focus. Finishes long and smooth, with firm tannins and touches of oak and citrus. Outstanding now, this will undoubtedly improve once it has softened after a couple of years in the cellar. 90+
