Saturday, April 29, 2023 - No sediment. Deep inky purplish red, pink at the rim. Right out of the bottle, a very generous nose: violets, rose, damp forest floor. In the mouth, well balanced, drying tannins followed by fruit and acid. However not giving much away yet. After 1h the general impression is "tart" but it's a wine with real backbone. It paired well with a steak - but in more of a supporting role as a quality and well balanced glass.
