Sunday, March 15, 2015 - Wow, very surprised. My first Ridge Petite and outstanding. Massive oak and massive fruit - works very well together for a BIG wine. Love it. I'll hunt for more.
3/16/2015 8:36:00 AM - Thanks for the note. Did you find the wine very tannic at this point? When I popped one of these a couple of years ago, it was pretty hard and dry on the finish. I made a mental note not to open one for a good 4-5 years.
3/17/2015 10:14:00 AM - Hard and dry wouldn't be words I would use at all. Really had massive fruit on the finish. I have a couple more and I will be drinking them soon. I think they are ready now. Really opened up after ~45mins of decanting.
