Taste: The feel is Full bodied with medium acidity and chewy, high tannins. The tannins are very youthful and dominate while there is some alcohol sting on the back end. Though the structure is clearly youthful, there is a lot to like underneath with dark red cherries, cranberries, red currants, cocoa powder, cedar, tobacco, licorice, and violets.
Overall: This was my #6 and the group's #4. This is very young and I would really like to check in on it again with some more age on it. It just feels in an awkward stage at the moment.
