Thursday, May 9, 2013 - Barrel sample. Beautiful dark color. Surprisingly fragrant nose of earth,spice and tons of floral fragrances. Obvious cool climate Syrah profile. Medium plus acidity. Medium finish of the same that was surprisingly well integrated but obviously young. Especially considering this was a barrel sample, this was very very good. 91+

5/10/2013 7:35:00 PM - Yup, from the barrel. non blended, fined, etc. That said,I expected a much more raw product, but this was very good. We didn't give it much air, but I suspect it would have made a huge difference.
