Thursday, March 19, 2015 - Gave this around 45 min of air before serving. Dark violet with a red rim. Straightforward Bordeaux aromatics. Black currant, cedar, tobacco. Medium to full bodied. This is 50-50 Cab Merlot. A mix of plums, currants & dark cherries accented with mocha & cedar. Again, showing excellent typicity, no spoof. Mild tannic structure. Very enjoyable.
