  From magnum in Hereford, mineral, little fruit, bit thin and weedy, some earth, better with food, hard to see upside but not obviously past it either. Just about G (15).

  Very stylish number showing lots of rich chocolately dark fruits with a smoky line of incense in the background. Quite modern and polished, punches well above its price point. The oak is indeed quite evident, but adds a nice bit of fat in the back middle palate. I think this will calm down with another five years. Very good.

  Roasty nose,
  Firm and fresh with nice structure
  Then quite a bit of vanilla-laced new oak at the end
  Good fruit but find the oak a little jarring

  Heady nose with black currents the primary scent. Smooth fruit with plum and chocolate evident. Longish finish with some tannin, feels like it would do well with a short term sleep but pleasant today.
