Thursday, October 1, 2015 - Emirates lounge and served too warm. Dark garnet with translucent rim. This is a big wine almost of new world Shiraz size. There must be plenty of Merlot in the blend with some Cab or perhaps Sangiovese providing the backbone. Lush and round, medium tannins (and some remaining oak) are almost entirely covered. Heat comes through a bit at room temperature (14.5% alc). Good length. Very good wine if not necessarily my preferred style. 93
