Wednesday, December 9, 2015 - From Coravin. Black rather than red berries, slight coffee grinds and stalks, autumnal left notes, herbaceousness and ash. In the mouth it's almost blackberry fruit, tangy, slight sapply stalkinesss and a bitter but fine tannin all carry on the long finish. Quite savoury and, with time, a star anise quality comes to the fore. Hmm.
