Saturday, May 11, 2013 - Fantastic bottle. Decanted 2 hours, not nearly enough as it continued to open up in the glass and over the evening. Deep purple in the glass, soft edges. Blueberry and earth on the nose, with a hint of cedar and pencil shavings. Cocoa, sandalwood, plum and mint on the palate, good viscosity, long finish. While this was quite ready, it should get even better over the decade.
