Wednesday, March 1, 2023 - 26022023 - 5 ⭐️ luncheon hosted by SKT with 14 bottles of wines & 2 aged cognacs. Our first red tasted blind from LMC. Prominent roasted bell peppers, still some red fruit with plenty tertiary notes - forest floor, old leather & stale tobacco. The palate is surprisingly still energetic with powerful acidity & plush tannins. Guessed this almost correct as left bank Haut Medoc Bordeaux but got the vintage wrong.
