90 Points

Sunday, March 20, 2011 - Beautiful and classical Bordeaux bouquet with ripe cassis and raspberries. French oak. On the palate the same fruits and oak plus blood, leather and iron and also a firm dose of sweetness which reveals this is not a Bordeaux. The tannin is very ripe, there is also good acidity and a long finish. The wine is completely mature, but not showing any signs of old age. Really a pleasure to drink now and the coming 2 - 3 years.
