Wednesday, September 7, 2022 - Wonderful now, with that uniqueness that Piemonte provides. In a blind tasting, for a minute I could wonder, is this a burg? But no. It’s not, so then what. It’s early in it’s mid life, showing visual signs as such, silky tannins, wonderful finish, it’s 20 years since we were so fortunate to share lunch at the vineyard during an awful hail disrupted fall (which was great for truffles). I’m best putting my wine memories in a context and here that visit which introduced Vietti to us provides visual and gustatory memories that make oenotravel so wonderful. Ok, enough, find it and love it.
