Saturday, November 30, 2013 - The Twelveth Annual Stonefields Dinner (Guelph, ON): What I found interesting on this wine was that despite it only being 8% or so semillion I felt it really was a notable element adding an almost petrol , oily, machine shop note to the wine. The Chenin add the typical honey, floral, citrus and melon. Very acidic and somewhat linear palate but finish is fairly lengthy.
