Sunday, July 31, 2011 - Opened but did not decant about 30 minutes and it probably needed an hour. A nice purple coloring, still young appearance. Flavors of red currants, boysenberries and mint with a sweet spot about mid-palate. A touch high on the acid at the back. Tannins have diminished but not completely disappeared. Would have expected to find a few more mature cab flavors. This is definitely California cab and not Bordeaux.
