Monday, July 27, 2020 - This being my first Slatnik, I really don't know how to rate it - but it was enjoyable. It looks like beer in the glass but it's distinct, somewhat funky on the first notes but then has a fruity and tropical finish that lingers and is very much wine. This was enjoyed as a 10 year old bottle - unsure what a younger version would be like or what 'over the hill' is for this bottling but it is certainly a wine geek's wine at the very least, and an enjoyable beverage for the rest of us.
