Wednesday, June 6, 2018 - Alentejo Trip; 6/3/2018-6/8/2018: Deep gold color. Aromas of orange peel, apricot, deep honey and nougat. Creamy and plump on the palate with orange marmalade, rich honey, graham crackers, almond. Notes of sea salt and buttered biscuits. Richer than the 2016 style but well done and balanced nicely. Delish. I’m impressed by how well this aged.
