Saturday, January 12, 2013 - A beast of a Brunello and especially for an '07. Red fruit, roses, leather, and a boatload of tannin. Everyone at the table thought it was nebbiolo as I knew they would. If you open now I'd suggest decanting for several hours. Tried putting through an aerator which only exaggerated the tannin and killed the fruit.
