Three hour decant. This bottle, at least, was not the tannic beast described above. Fruit forward but balanced, it was a huge hit with our "Sopranos"-themed supper club (Bolognese, sausage and peppers, etc...). Well structured and ageable, for sure, but I like where its at. 91

A beast of a Brunello and especially for an '07. Red fruit, roses, leather, and a boatload of tannin. Everyone at the table thought it was nebbiolo as I knew they would. If you open now I'd suggest decanting for several hours. Tried putting through an aerator which only exaggerated the tannin and killed the fruit.

Amazing at this point. Flawless, good fruit, great balance, still has a tannic grip. Shows like a much younger wine.

best on 2nd day, still good acidity, drinking window says peaks in 2017, I would guess it still has years left. Decent brunello

Dried fruit, but decanted about 1.5 hrs ahead of time. I would drink all holdings now.

Surprisingly a bit on the lighter side, but beautiful color, nose and finish. Thinking of drinking the last 2 sooner than expected.

Similar notes as before, but a little more refinement; modern style evident with fine grain tannin. Lots of cherry notes. Still very tight- needs air.
