Saturday, July 10, 2010 - OK. Have to start with the cork. WTF!! It wasn't budging as if glued to the bottle. A frustrating half an hour later the wine was slowly dripping and thank God it was worth the effort. Bright peach color. Expressive nose of glycerine, peaches and spices. Medium bodied. Nice acidity. Very rich - really reminds me of a Northern Rhone white. Feels like there is some wood on the palate. Citrus, spices, exotic fruits (pineapple and mango?). Medium finish. The richness and balance here are nice. I like it, but I will never buy another bottle because of the horrible experience of actually opening it.
