Sunday, February 28, 2016 - Ripe cherry and berry, spice over vanilla and slightly dusty notes. Quite dense on the nose. Ripe berry strays into the black fruit spectrum and the oak is quite constrained (compared to the 2006). Chalky tannins. Nice.
