Sunday, October 13, 2013 - Real Grenache typicity here. Red fruit. Sweet red fruit, licorice, spice and slightly resinous. Once again I am faced with a bottle of wine that is 15 percent alc., and yet it is probably the last thing I noticed. On the palette there are no signs of fatigue, the tannins are smooth but present. Yes this is big, and close to being over the top, but it is also finesseful when properly referenced. Fruit and power in the mouth, though less complex than the nose. Ending long with a lovely cinnamon note.
