Sunday, May 10, 2020 - Aubert de Villaine outperformed the village and the vintage. None of the green notes of some 11's, this was a balanced beauty in a good place right now. Cherries, strawberries, provencal herbs. This paired well with lamb chops and later on its own. I have a few more bottles, and while I'd have no problem opening another soon, these are in no danger of declining for several years.
