Saturday, March 2, 2013 - A: Pale gold. Fine mousse.
N:JTH has candy apple nose. I get baked apple, hazelnut and we both get marshmallows.
P: Dark baked apple immediately gives way to a bright streak of versus. Unripe peach pie and a sliver of ginger. JTH detected pecan shells, jolly rancher, green apples and very faint coffee. Wheres the brioche? Finish medium (-). Good acidity and medium alcohol (12.5%).

C: This has fab acidity. Get mouth watering before a dinner and so a aperitif wine perhaps. I don't like the lack of freshness in the fruit. JTH wants more toast. Lacks complexity. $50 for a bottle which means the QPR on this is very poor. I do like the fact that its not trying to be French. Those flavors are not what i would normally associate with the sparklers that i usually drink which is fun.
