Saturday, November 16, 2013 - Blind tasting of 9 2010 reds at VVW, 2.5 oz pours. Wine H. Ranked 2 out of 9. This shows a very pretty nose of spice, cherry and flowers, very alluring, very floral with evident stems. You could almost say it has a DRC type nose, but not quite. Very lithe and lightweight palate, with a solid core of perfectly ripe fruit, this is very tasty today. Finishes a touch dry and lean, but I believe given its youth it will fill out with some years.
