Saturday, June 15, 2019 - Outstanding gem ... and my 3rd fave 'aia' wine, after Sassicaia and Ornellaia.

After a 75 min. decant, aromas of licorice & tobacco were prominent, with a nice toasted oak following.

Complex palate that kept changing over the night. Started with Black currants & tobacco but transformed into black licorice, anise & earth.

Delightful party for my taste buds - thoroughly enjoyable now. One friend called it a 'balanced, noble wine.'
