Friday, March 31, 2017 - shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the workweek. second time tasting this wine. the wine is essentially the same as when tasted last year. this wine walks softly but carries a big stick. 15.5 alcohol on the label. could be higher but undocumented. alcohol is not intrusive as it is matched with big luscious dark fruit, ample tannins and some wood. this wine remains youthful. still needs several more years to evolve and spread its wings. lucky i can afford to be patient and enjoy other things while i wait for this one to be ready. kudos to wtso for this find. need to become more familiar with the centesimino grape and what other producers are using it.
