Saturday, February 26, 2011 - Only have one of these and decided to give it a whirl. Decanted for about 2 hours before dinner. Pretty open all the way through but the decant did help. Nice aromas of lead pencil, minerals and fruit. The palate shows balanced red fruit flavors intermixed with a mineraliness, pepper and tobacco flavors. A nice suave texture and persistent finish. I wonder if I can find more of these for under $50. Paid $37 and that was a steal!
