Saturday, September 30, 2006 - Cabernet Sauvignon (Farpointe Cellar): I really liked the coffee aromas and flavors on this wine. They were very upfront and powerful. The nose also had some raspberry, plum, and vanilla. The palate was very smooth and had the same fruit as the nose, along with some cedar and a little vanilla. The tannins were very firm and the finish nice and long. If you like the smell of coffee, you'll like this one.
