Wednesday, February 12, 2014 - Similar in color to the Tiefenbrunner, but no spritz. Nose again features white fruits (pears), but this is not quite as focused as the other wine was.
OTOH, this comes across leaner on the palate than the Tiefenbrunner, with more/noticeable acidity and structure to frame the fruit. Nice finish - if I could marry the Tiefenbrunner nose with this palate, I'd have one hell of a 2012 Alto Adige Pinot Bianco ;^)
As with the first wine, this is nice QPR.
