At SD26 in NYC at a business event. Always a great spot with interesting wine selections. Recommended by the somm, Eleanora
Medium body, floral nose. Drinks a bit like a light Gewurz - apple, honeysuckle, white flowers, tropicla notes. Medium finish, nice mouthfeel. Had been expecting something much thinner, this surprised to the upside, the crowd liked it...

Similar in color to the Tiefenbrunner, but no spritz. Nose again features white fruits (pears), but this is not quite as focused as the other wine was.
OTOH, this comes across leaner on the palate than the Tiefenbrunner, with more/noticeable acidity and structure to frame the fruit. Nice finish - if I could marry the Tiefenbrunner nose with this palate, I'd have one hell of a 2012 Alto Adige Pinot Bianco ;^)
As with the first wine, this is nice QPR.

Interesting taste. As people have said of other vintages, seems like a cross between a Chard/Reis or ?SB...Nose is distinct with fruit that is layered with some tropical notes/straw/grass/apple quality. Palate is med/full bodied with some med acid (nice) and the fruit which is grassy/apple/pear/pineapple mixed with some tropical white flowers? That sounds complex, but it kind of is. It comes off a little hot and on finish there is a hint of bitter almond wich is a tad distracting, but with food or another 1-2 years to mellow, makes that ok.

This is aging beautifully. It has taken on considerable depth and complexity on the crisp, pure round palate. Terrific wine for the price.

Crisp, pure, round and delicious on the palate with a lengthy finish. Hard to beat this at any price, but especially under $20.

Floral nose, medium body. Apple, honeydew, honeysuckle and hibiscus flavors. Surprising in it's distinctive flavors. Pairs very nicely with turkey.
