Sunday, June 21, 2015 - This wine surprised me. It was just about as good at this level as many German made reselling wines. It was light yellow in color. I tasted of pear and grapefruit and had that nice dieseling semi-bitter taste. it lasted all weekend in an opened bottle in the fridge with little loss of fruit. Based on this tasting, I would not hesitate to buy another NY wine again.

6/22/2015 5:21:00 AM - Welcome to the new New York wines. Most Finger Lakes Rieslings have a good bit of residual sugar. You might also try Forge Cellars. Their dry riesling is also made bone dry. The Finger lakes also makes some good Alsatian style Gewurtz, and many good Macon style unoaked Chardonnay. Pinot Noir and Cab Franc are improving. Come visit and taste. Our wine country is beautiful.
