Community Tasting Note

Friday, October 31, 2014 - California Cabernet Sauvignon at its best. That sums this bottle up. If you're seeking perfectly ripe fruit with so much intensity of flavor you can eat it, silky, velvety textures and a finish that lingers long after the wine has been finished, this is for you.

11/6/2014 7:34:00 PM - Potential for ageing? Lots of california cabs are big and bold today, oak and alcohol tomorrow!

I have recent tasting notes from 1994 and other early vintages that have also aged nicely. www.thewinecellarinsider.com/california-wine/abreu-vineyards-cabernet-sauvignon-california-wine/

10/24/2017 1:22:00 PM - Jeff, would you recommend drinking 2001 or 2002 Madrona/Thorevilos first? Which vintage is better today? Which vineyard matures first? Thanks!

10/25/2017 8:22:00 PM - I think it is more about the vintage than the vineyard, as far as being accessible. Both wines are great and show well today, but they are different in style. 2001 is more classic and 2002 is more powerful and opulent. Enjoy!
