Sunday, August 3, 2014 - 12.0% - Clear, med to pale lemon / clean, med intensity - piquant lemon zest, lemon custard, chalky minerality, fresh butter notes, a touch of spice / dry, high racy acidity, med- body, med+ intensity, med to long length. This is so refreshing and full of finesse at the same time. Probably the best vintage of Clos des Briords that I've tried so far.
Blind I would probably have mistaken this one for a well made Chablis 1er cru level. The entry level 2012 Muscadet from Pepière was great, but this is way ahead.
