13% - Clear, med to deep purple / clean, med intensity - blackberry, blueberry, a touch of red berries, citrus zest, toast / dry, med+ acidity, low tannin, med- body, med intensity and length. This wine is most likely my first encounter with Jurancon Noir (hybrid of Malbec and Folle Blanche). Very nice upon opening, but tends to oxidize on the second day.

12.5% - Hazy, deep purple, light fizz / clean, med intensity - red & black berry fruit mixture, some reduction, balsamic reduction, eucalyptus, animal / dry, med+ refreshing acidity, med soft tannin, med to light body, med intensity and length. Always a treat with simple Italian dishes.
