Monday, November 13, 2017 - Burgundy Dinner with Friends (Spiaggia - Chicago IL): Opened and decanted 30+ minutes before serving. So beautifully and prototypically Vosne with its red fruit and baking spice. Moderate weight, concentration and length, but with impeccable balance and supreme elegance. This wine perfectly shows why I am so enthralled with Mugneret-Gibourg wines at every level. Good now, probably better in a few more years,and certainly charming through 2032-ish.
