Tuesday, September 8, 2020 - It is so frustratingly rare to find a grand cru that actually tastes like a grand cru. This Potel Beze is altogether remarkable from the aroma right through to the exquisite, long palate. It starts with enticing aromas of dark candied strawberries. The flavors are extraordinary, sexy dark cherries, fresh strawberry acidity, supple licorice, all deeply saturated, and a clean finish. This is a powerhouse of satisfaction. Showing some bricking at the edge.
