On the palate medium/medium-plus in body, the tannins are dusty and medium leaving a feeling of cocoa powder. Acidity is medium/medium plus. while the mouth feel is smooth and plush the mid palate density is medium. Flavors of black plum, wild berries and dark cherry upfront followed by a stream of minerality, crushed flowers, spice and light vanilla. Overall a good wine, but sorry Mr. Parker jr. this is in no way a 94 point wine. when considering complexity, age ability, overall depth and structure.... not even close. Considering the price point yes this is an exceptional value but lets keep perspective shall we.
