11/20/2017 9:49:00 PM - Sunset Corners, Miami's oldest and best family-owned wine shop, was asked to move a ton of cases by a distributor and held a big sale; at that price, the wine was flying off the shelf. The local Total stores are selling it at $42.99. Check Sunset's website to see if they have any left. If so and you're not in SoFla, it's worth the cost of shipping, which Sunset does.

PS: Even though it's just one store, co-owner Mike Bittel has great trade connections and is often asked to move excess product. He had another dump sale at the same time on 2012 Beringer PR chard, which I love and so I stocked on on that too.

11/20/2017 10:09:00 PM - I appreciate the info. I'm in southern California so we get some of the best deals on wine because of our proximity to Napa and Sonoma. Occasionally we get dump sales, including one about two years ago where we were getting Caymus at $45 a bottle. Regardless of the easy access we have to wine here in California it never hurts to network. Thanks again and all the best.
