Good concentration of dark berries on tasting, with yet more earth, savory spices, graphite and empty loamy finish, with breakfast-tea coppers. Remarkably enough, almost no other fruit or spicy sweetness one expects, but soft tannins on the mouthfeel. A great food wine, pairing nicely with our steak. Might have seen better days, but still, a good Barossa cab.
