Saturday, January 21, 2017 - Wine brought to a dinner so no formal notes taken. Was fortunate enough to be able to drink this with Duncan Arnot-Meyers. This has really blossomed since last tasted. No more funky aromas - this is beautiful juice with a tannic backbone which to me is striking for a Gamay. The whole cluster fermentation is now seamless, with the juicy fruit and tannins from the stems all wrapped up in one luscious package. I commented on the price last note, but the way this is drinking now, its all worth it.
