Saturday, November 23, 2013 - Dark red, maroon. Light cherry nose. Dry and a little raw with some light tannins and fruit on the PnP. Starts to integrate the fruit and tannins with some air time in the glass. Nice acid and iodine starting to show. Anticipate improvement over night. The next night a restrained nose, soft mouthfeel with light acid, round tannins, medium meaty fruit with just the slightest hint of bitter. Ripe cherries, blackberries, restrained and nicely improved over last night. It went from OK on the PnP to pretty darn good, up 2 pts.
