The red fruits carry over to the medium bodied palate along with an amplified earthy component and juicy acidity. The latest Tablas Creek Vintage Chart shows this wine "drinking well-mature", but my impression of this wine is of a slightly overaged Cotes du Rhone. The wine will not improve, so drink up.
