Friday, December 2, 2022 - Wine evening (Restaurant Krietsch, Schwäbisch Gmünd): Popped and poured. Clear, deep ruby-garnet color. Intense, deep and smoky nose with lots of strawberries and fresh herbs.
On the palate very fresh and young, ethereal and herbaceous, fine strawberry, some raspberry, very good structure and texture. Noticeable toasting, but not too much. Long, fruity finish. German Pinot at its very best and not yet at full peak. 93+
