Saturday, July 1, 2017 - Starts of bright red cherry with high acidity. Blinded I would have guessed 96. This wine improves by the hour. Black fruits and a hint of soy and smoke. A lot lingering savoriness on the finish. I agree this is reminiscent of of an aged northern Rhone. This palate and nose builds for 3 hours and I suspect these bottles will take another 1-2 decades to peak.
