On the palette, a bit like a Cali Zin, with a core of zesty blackberry, plum, (maybe a bit of prune) fruit and a considerably tannic finish. Definitely new world in style, but like I said it's got something going for it. This is going to open up nicely. Will note again tomorrow. Definitely wrong about this one. Next day has come. Still showing more wood than fruit and a mouthful of astringent tannin. Downgrading this to an 84.
