Saturday, February 3, 2018 - Aged Barolo (aka Q1 wine club) (The Apt): Wine #3: Interesting that for a wine this young the primary characteristics to me were still library and leather and cigar. I actually pegged this as having more age than it did. The acidity was well balanced and structure was there. With a bit of time some black fruits came through. It needed time to open up and prob would have been happier with a decant. (4 pennies)
